Question:

how do u lift a car and still put shocks on the back?

i have a cutlass supreme 86 and was planning on lifting it but i dont think the shocks will fit in the rear after i do that. wat should i do

Answer:

Buy longer shocks. If you lift it 3 inches, buy 3 longer shocks.
Actually you can lift the vehicle, place jack stands under the rear axle housing and you'll have all the shock travel you'll need to remove and re-install. You can not leave the wheels hanging in the air. The shocks will be at their full extension and you will not be able to remove them
the shocks should still fit unless your raising it up like a 4 wheel drive, you could also go with air shocks to lift it.
