I am working at a particular place where i am tasked to re-cycle wooden pallets tat i recieve everyday.Any ideas how to re-use them?
it will dependon the size of the pallets as they are not all 4 by 4,most new trailers are 102's,a 48 would have 24 max a 53 would have 26,this will be max in one level, you can double stack, this all depends on the load on the pallet.,eg if you have styrofoam containers you will have up to 52 palletts or 26 loaded double high,if you have drilling mud or car batteries you may only have 12 or 14 straight down the center, these numbers will also change due to the weight of the truck and trailer and extras your carrying.if you truck and trailer wieghs 30000 empty then you can haul 50000.if you unit is heavy then you haul less etc, stop by a shipping company, most of them keep pallet floor plans for there loading
first of all your looking at 72,000 lbs. , depending on weight permit and equipment, driver has,,,average weight for 53' trailers, is 45,000-48,000 lbs. you might get 24-28 pallets on 53' trailer. but watch the weight,
What is your empty weight? What is your GVWR? What is your gross legal weight? Flatbed or van? Rocky Mountain doubles? B-train? USA or elsewhere? What are the dimensions of the pallets? How can this question be answered as asked? The only answer I can give with the information supplied is--- dunno. Let us know, OK?
