I don't know if it matters but my floors are black brown and Light brown
muratic acid (hydrochloric acid at 32% strength) is available at home improvement stores. just be careful.
There's a special cleaner you can get for it. Look at the hardware store.
I doubt if you can. Cover it with latex or paint. Or, maybe best of all- put 2 inches of concrete on top and hire a machine to polish it nicely.
Muric acid availible at your local lowe's or home depot . It's sold to just clean concrete floors before painting or epoxy coverings.
We have stained concrete floors in the office that I work in. I usually mop them first with water...(if they are really dirty). Then I use Mop and Glo for Teflon...it really seems to shine them up. Another trick you can try between mopping is get a dust mop and spray it with endust and go over your floors...DO NOT SPRAY ENDUST DIRECTLY ON FLOOR----it will make them slippery. If you just spray it on the dust mop and than go over your floors it will shine them nicely.
