can anyone give me the directions to felt a sweater? i think you wash it a couple times, but thats all i knowand is it true that when you felt a sweater and u cut it, the yarn wont unweave?
Basically, you've got it - toss it in the washer with hot water, and see what happensIf it's made of wool or another animal fiber, and not treated to be washable, it should feltIt might also take a couple of cycles - try adding a tablespoon of dishwashing detergent to the water, as it removes oils and helps roughen up the wool, which will help the process alongBecause you're using dishwashing detergent, I wouldn't put this in with your regular clothes.try an old pair of worn out jeans (I use the pants I wear for gardening), which helps with the agitation, another key ingredient in the processOnce the fibers have matted together, they will not unravel.
Why don't you just ask the pizza place for an extra box? OrI would use foil.
