I know it's installed differently so tell me how to install it step by step
I've never heard of 'Total Quartz', but I know Mobil. I run Mobil 1 in my Mustang, have since I got it in 1990. I tore the 'old' 5.0 down at 186,000 miles because the mains were wearing it was loosing oil pressure, the bottom of the oil pan was clean as the day Henry Ford put it together. The bearings died of abuse, also, not because of the lube. The car now has a 351W stroked to 427, still gets only Mobil 1. But, there are only a few refiners that actually make engine oils today, this Quartz is not one of them. So, he's buying bulk refined oil putting it in bottles with his name on it. If you can research him backwards, you might be able to see who makes his stuff.. It could be a name-brand in a different bottle.
