Relatively inexpensive and nourishingA very easy, romantic meal for 2: Chateau Burger: the exact same as ChateaubriandInstead of using filet mignon, the biggest difference is you make a triple hamburger as your centerpiece I found when I use 90/10 hamburger, there isn't as much liquid90/10 is 90% lean meat and 10% fatYou might be able to get away with 85/15, but anything less than that is very, very iffyYou could add a little bread crumbs to the mix, salt, pepper, Worcestershire, a dash of Tabasco sauce or hot sauce and some garlic powderWant to hear WOW? Make a Chateaubriand BurgerOne BIG hamburger for 2 peopleHaving more than 2? Make a larger burgerCook it to the desired donenessLet it rest [leave it on the counter so the meat relaxes and the juices get evenly re-distributed through the burgerfor about 10-15 minutes You could put it on a big platter with mushrooms, sauteed onions [or breaded onion rings], a couple of fresh green veggies and homemade mashed potatoes on the border of the platterSome candles and your favorite music! You'll get that well-deserved WOW! [AND probably a whole lot more!] Carve it at the tableServe it with your favorite beverageEnjoy Thanks for asking your Q! I enjoyed answering it!
