Question:

How do you make Limewater from Slaked Lime?

It says in my chemistry book to add water, but that's what we had to do to make Slaked Lime from Quicklime =)

Answer:

Better to just get some enzymes like Natures Miracle, or Odor Mute, and mix with water, apply to the lawn, which will love the enzymes and grow better for it, and it's safe for your pets.
slightly tinted yellow with a hair of grass. Yellow is bile and common when a dog vomits a mostly empty stomach. The grass indicates she's a muncher....whether she likes the taste or, more commonly, the dogs use grass eating to help vomit. Why might she want to vomit? Could be she got lime on her paws from one of her outside visits, came indoors and started licking her feet. Lime is hazardous to soft tissues.....eyes, tongue, etc. It burns. How far the burning got into her, who knows. Bloody stools might be from lime licking, the force taken to vomit, internal parasites, among others. I suspect the vet will suggest putting your dog on a bland diet to soothe the gut: usually rice and ground meat. As for the lawn, now you know you must water lime in right after application to wash it off the foliage. If you have a thatch layer covering the soil, the lime might be sitting there instead of getting into the soil as fast as it could. Dogs vomit, pee and poop accidents all their life. It's part of owning a dog. Cleaning up isn't nice, but it has to be done.
