Question:

How do you measure the resistance of sensors on the car?

How do you measure the resistance of sensors on the car?

Answer:

Use the multimeter resistance register to pull off the electrical plug and measure the positive and negative poles of the sensor. The measured data are for sensor resistance. If the resistance is infinite, then the sensor is short circuited
These parameters are important for fault detection and diagnosis of engine electronic control system. However, these parameters can not be detected by the general digital multimeter. A special meter is required, that is, a multimeter.
In the fault detection and diagnosis of the engine control system, in addition to often need to measure voltage, resistance and current parameters, there is a need to detect speed, dwell angle, bandwidth ratio (duty cycle), frequency, pressure, time, temperature, capacitance, inductance, semiconductor components etc..
There is a special meter for automobiles, in addition to the measurement of the voltage, current and resistance of ordinary multimeter, there are special measuring gears for automobiles.
