I need a step by step explanation, PLEASE!
What is a toe loop. ( remember to put more info in your questions next time.)
assuming your a CCW jumper (if your not just reverse my instructions) there are two ways to perform the jump, i will explain both and you can choose your favourite way. my preferred way: 1. skate forwards using CCW crossovers with your arms facing the center of the circle 2. gliding on your left foot, check your right foot in front of you 3. pushing onto your right foot and perform a right inside 3 turn 4. by now you will be gliding backward on your right foot with your left arm checked infront of you 5. reach your left foot behind you and tap the ice and that you pull yourself up into the air 6. land the jump on your right foot in the landing position other method: 1. skate forwards using CCW crossovers with your arms facing the center of the circle 2. gliding on your left foot, check your right foot in front of you 3. using your right toe pick to assist you push your left foot into a left outside three turn 4. you should be gliding backwards on your left foot, left arm checked infront of you 5. change to your right blade 6. reach your left foot behind you and tap the ice and that you pull yourself up into the air 7. land the jump on your right foot in the landing position hope this helps you, you will have to have to have the basics before you can do this jump becuase of the three turns etc. xox
A toe loop is the first jump a skater learns that requires the use of the toe pick for takeoff. . Skate backwards on one foot, holding a back outside edge. . Keep the opposite arm in front, the other arm behind you. . Reach behind you with the other foot and put your toepick into the ice. . Pull your feet together and jump straight up ? Bring your arms together at midchest ? Turn once in the air, in the direction of your toeing foot. (If you used your left toepick, turn to the left or CCW. For the right toepick, turn to the right or CW.) . Land on the same back outside edge you started out on. . Check the landing by keeping your arms in an L position and your free foot behind you. Good luck!
