I spilled my box of crystals - they were in their individual slots with labels. When I went to put them back, I couldn't tell which crystals were rose quartz and pink quartz :( I read up on them, and apparently they have different healing properties, and I wanted to wear the rose quartz this week. But I can't tell which one is the rose quartz. Please help?Thanks~Sorry if I categorized this question in the wrong place.
Geologically/Mineralogically speaking they aren't different. I guess the main way to tell would be to see if the quartz is labeled as Lemurian at a store or New Age shop. It sounds like crystals marketed as Lemurian are often pinkish, have lines on one or more of the crystal faces, and are often frosted.
Lemuria is a New Age term - these are quartz crystals that have coloured inclusions or lines in them. Some may be completely or partially tinted. The label Lemurian Crystal has no scientific definition.
Quartz crystals can be used to cast defensive spells, like Cure Poison and Wall. Lemurias can only be used to cast Magic Missile spells. I learned that one the hard way a few weeks ago.
