The best way to describe it is similar in flavor to cinnamon rolls, but easier to make, kind of a pull-apart breadIt is often made with biscuit dough, but I actually prefer it made with frozen yeast bread doughIt is really easy First, thaw the bread dough and cut into 10 pieces and roll into ballsMelt a stick of butter in a shallow bowl mix maybe 1/2 cup white sugar with a couple of teaspoons of cinnamon Grease a 9x5 loaf panDip balls of dough into butter and roll in cinnamon sugar and place in loaf panLet the bread rise until double in bulk in a warm placeWhen ready to bake, preheat oven to 350 and bake bread for about 30 minutes, until it starts to brown.
This is called Pinch-Me Bread, Monkey Bread, or Pull-Aparts 3 packages of buttermilk biscuit tubes (10 per tube) 2/3 cup white sugar 2 teaspoons cinnamon 1/2 cup butter or margarine, melted 1/2 cup brown sugar, packed 1 cup walnut and/or pecan pieces and/or raisins (optional) Take 3 packages of buttermilk biscuit tubes (10 per roll) and cut each roll into quartersMix sugar and cinnamon into a shallow bowlDrop roll pieces one at a time into the sugar mix and roll around to lightly coatDrop sugar-coated pieces into a well buttered tube or Bundt pan(Don't smash the pieces.) Put the left-over sugar/cinnamon mix and 1/2 cup packed brown sugar and 1/2 cup of butter (1 stick) into a small saucepanMelt the butter and stir until the sugar is disolvedRemove from heat immediatelyCarefully pour over the roll piecesBake at 350°F for 30 minutesCool slightly in an upright position, then tip pan over onto a plate to remove monkey breadDo not cut as the pieces just pull apartYou can also add either raisins, or coarsely chopped walnuts or pecans, or any combination thereof which amounts to about one cup, if nobody that will be eating this is allergicIf you do, you need 1 Cup nuts, raisins or any combination, dividedSprinkle one third of the nut/raisins/nut-raisin mix into the Bundt pan before you begin adding the biscuit piecesAfter adding each layer of biscuit pieces, sprinkle with some nuts/raisins/nut-raisin mixIf any are left, add to the brown sugar/butter mix, stir until coated then pour over the roll pieces.
Those blankets have unique smell.you should find out if it is really dirty. In military they only dry cleaned themI would be careful about washing in a machine or a dryer.most wool products require dry cleaning.
