Question:

How does a hydraulic pump relate to the engine speed interms of load while lifting using a frontend loader ?

I am studying 4 a certificate in diesel plant fitting

Answer:

Assuming it is a fixed displacement pump, your load moving will be faster the higher the engine speed. If it's variable displacement, then the load speed should be independent of the engine speed (as long as the engine maintains a minimum RPM. (confirm with your own research, I have never worked on a front end loader)
