what's the altirnative for minimizing the danger of plastic?
Not alot the waste is the problem just recycle

Since plastic bags are thin and airtight as well, children often end up blocking their mouths and nostrils with them. Even during,the production of plastic vast quantities of toxic waste are produced by treating them with flame retardants, plasticizers and various other organic compounds.
