I would think a car with a longer wheelbase handles better since itt would reduce rolloverbut then why would drag cars have such long wheelbase if there is no handling involved???
Of course it is, but it may not be smart, you would have to deal with weather, temperature and possibly dangerous animals.

Drag racers want the car as long as possible to get as much of the weight up front as leverage to not lift the steering wheels off the ground. The wheel base doesn't effect rollover in a car, the center of gravity does. Keep the car as low as possible to make it handle better.
