How easy is it to custom modify an electric guitar?
The only (aesthetic) difference between those guitars is one has chrome hardware and a white pickguard while the other has gold hardware and a black pickguardReplacing all the hardware isn't difficult, but it would take a while and probably cost a few hundred dollarsYou would need a new bridge, new tuning machines, new pickguard mount, new strap buttons, pickup rings (on second look the ones in that second picture are black), pickup mounting screws, pickup covers, new switch and mounting ring, and new knobsNot really worth it with a guitar like thatyou'll probably spend more than half the price of the guitar replacing all that stuffIf you ask me, the chrome looks a lot sharperYou could replace the pickguard for anywhere from $10-$25That would look pretty rad.
