I?ve found a little stone, clear, like a raw quartz or raw diamond, How i know the differences? how can i test that? or be so sure that is quartz?thanks
I can't help you with the quartz aspect I'm afraid, but it seems to be little known today that uranium nitrate crystals alsio exhibit triboluminescence. Assuming quartz is similar, the light emitted is pretty faint and you must be in a darkened room with you eyes adjusted to see it. Having said that, I've shaken uranium nitrate crystals in a darkroom many times and seen the yellowy light. Because it is so faint, taking a picture would be pretty difficult, even with a modern digital camera. Hope this is of interest!
