How long approx will it take a new operator (I am going to get the feel for it first, just saying no prior expeirence) to dig this hole? (8ft deep)I am aware I have to shore it. I plan on building 2 plywood/2x4 walls across the long side of the hole and connect them across at the corners, then buildthe other 2 shorter walls and attach. Will this work good any sugestions?
If you are a first time operator, you CAN'T make a hole that size, regardless of how you attempt to shore it. Keep your cell phone handy so you can call for help from UNDER the excavator inside the hole.
