I have made spiral sliced ham before following the directions on the package and it always seems to come out dryWell I'm in Germany with the military this year and my ham came without any instructions and I cant' remember how long to cook it and can't seem to find anything on the net about it.
You can always make an apple pipe if you have any apples, just google how to but I think you still have to put foil in itand as for the match, if you have a candle then light it and keep relighting the match on the candle.
People say it's bad with alummin foil which it is but I have smoked out of it more than once and I'm fine? Lol and when I have nothing to smoke out of I just get a soda can , i think it's way easier (: matches work have fun lol
Get a empty soda can or water bottle, the top can be the bowl and you just tape foil to it and poke holes in it with a pen or needleTry not to break itMake another hole where you want to suck the smoke through, carb is optional, UI don't care for them myselfI don't think foil will hurt anything but might taste oddI persionally think you get better hits from matches and it helps with the smell too
Smoking with tin foil is bad but won't kill ya if done only few timesDO NOT smoke out of can this is dangerous because paint wears off when hitting it nd you inhale small piecesMany people with alzhemiers have high traces of aluminum in body so is rumored smoking outa foil causes memory problemsFor homemade water pipe find a nice bottle you like ( shape, size, color is all opinion)Find a part of tube can be water pump tube, pen, metal tube, can use many things as long as clean and dont meltThen find a socket to use as bowl and figure way to attach this to your tubeMake sure when you hit does not melt anything you can inhaleOnce connected to tube burn a hole in bottle that you can thightly squezze ur tubing with bowl attached intoPush tube in untill close to bottom of botelUse calk, tape, or whatever you can find to make tube air tight in bottleif you waNT you can also create a small carb on bottle so can clear the smokeJus burn little hole torwards middle of bottle that u can cover with fingerGet creative have fun and be safeSorry bout spelling done on phone
Spiral sliced are typically cooked so can be served cold but if you want to heat it up, place the ham, cut-side-down, on heavy-duty aluminum foil and wrap the ham thoroughlyOr use an oven roasting bag; follow instructions on the bag for preparationBake in a preheated 325 degrees F oven for 10-14 minutes per pound, or until a meat thermometer registers 140 degrees FRemove from oven and let sit for 10 minutes before servingIf the ham came with extra glaze, follow the package directions for adding it and cooking the glazeTo glaze this type of ham, turn the oven to 400 degrees F, brush the ham with the glaze, and bake for 10-15 minutes until the glaze is browned and bubblingLet stand for 10 minutes before slicing to serve.
