What did you wash it with? You could try rewashing it with human hair shampoo like VO5 and then try blow drying it while brushing itIt should come out nice and soft and have it's bounce backDo not put it in the dryer as true sheep skin will shrink like crazy and your rug will looked deformed.
Try this before rewashingThrow plenty of Carpet Fresh ( you can get it from any one Dollar Store or cleaning storeit is very cheep) Brush carpet gently using moderate strong brush work as circles directions, then after 20 mints brush it again working in strait as fabric's directionleave it 15 minutes then vacuumIf this doesn't work then rewash again using few carpet shampoo and few water use brush to separate the fiber while using cotton cloth to get the water out then leave it in open air til complete dryI think this will be better than using electric dryer good luck.
