Question:

how long does it take to repair a tiny highway bridge?

Theres this highway bridge that goes over a two lane road about half a mile from my house and a construction crew is doing some mysterious work on it where the bridge is covered by a curtain, and they're using some huge machine that unleashes this horrible drone that resonates perfectly with my skull all day long that I can hear at my house through closed windows and it gives me a constant headache and they've been at it for like two weeksI'm guessing they're doing some sort of repair work but its only a tiny bridge and I can't imagine anything that they could do with it that would take a whole construction crew more than a daySo how much longer do I have to put up with this?

Answer:

It would be easy if they could demolish the bridge in one fell swoop and then rebuild it but they can'tTo keep traffic moving they can only do one half at a time and do the work in such a way that it doesn't weaken the whole structureThe tarps are to protect you and the environmentThere are poisonous chemicals in concrete dust and they have to make sure it doesn't escape and they also have to keep the contaminants out of whatever is below the bridge especially waterIf the dust mixes with water it will release an acid which could harm marine lifeDoing it right takes a little longerit could take upwards of 2 months depending on the size of the bridge.
Sterilization refers to the ability to clean a surface of bacteriumSimply pouring rubbing alcohol on something sterilizes itAluminum can be sterilized just as good as any other metalIf it couldn't, would we ship our favorite drinks in cans of it?
