If you wrapped it in aluminum foil put a blow dryer to it to add heat and it will increase the color so it's more colory, but generally whatever the package says should be what you doI've used manic panic a lot, but I dyed my hair blond before handUsing manic panic is close to using regular hair dye except it doesn't stay in so it has less harmful chemicals so either way it'd just be better to go the extra mile and try dying whatever part blond or as blond as you can get it and the manic panic should show up more better.
