If you ask for an interview, most colleges will let you have one.
Just the top ones. But it's optional and has little to no effect on the admissions decision. This is because they are performed by alumnus in your area and not the actual college admissions staff. The purpose is more for them than it is for the prospective student. That is, it makes the alumni folks feel special that they are still included, such that they will donate more money.
