Question:

How many pounds of iron ore are produced from 4,200 pounds of iron ore if the ratio of iron to ore is 5/21?

I am not a student of any kind. I just want to learn, and I can‘t figure this one out.

Answer:

Cold air intake will certainly give it better throttle response, better economy horsepower maybe 2 to 3 bhp but really its not that noticeable, speaking from having them, in sporty 1.6 1.2 1.4 engines injection engines that is something that large might be more effective. Vector cones draw warm air in from engine so its worth the cold air feed as long as cone is enclosed.
cold air induction is nothing new, its just relatively new for the general consumer. cooler air intake helps atomize the air/fuel mixture thus giving it more capability of a fuller combustion. as far as HP and better mileage while there is truely an increase it is not an emense increase but it does help. my dodge ram runs better and have gained about 2-3 mpg. i know it sounds like very little but when you calculate that even against one tank (28 gals. for my truck) it comes out worth the expense. prices vary but expect to pay $175-275 for a brand name.
A cold air intake does help a little on most vehicles. Just don't expect there to be a huge difference in either power nor fuel economy. What you do notice most is the intake growl from the intake as it is not as muffled as most factory stock intakes are.
4200 divided by 21 multiplied by 5 1000 pounds
