Question:

How to get more power out of my truck without breaking the bank.?

I have a 1992 Nissan D21 series pickup with a 2.4l motor with a 5 speed transmission. In a straight line winding out 2nd, 3rd, and 4th gear i can only reach 75mph. Is there any way to get more power? I run 235/75/r15 tires on it.

Answer:

nitrous oxide kit, doubles the BHP
Those little trucks are just made for transportation and not power and speed. You might as well just accept it for what it is because even if you put a lot into it you still would have a slow little truck.
KN Air intake . not too much but it will lsat forever and give you some horespower. easy to install. ($200-$300) look on craigsL or OKorder for deals Or save money and look for just the KN filter (if available ) and just drop in a better filter.($50) new highly worth it, never have to buy another cheap paper filter again I would definitely invest in Good spark plug wires and a set of Good plugs These things are cheap to do your truck will feel better smoother ,and stronger(not to much) and in the long run they will save you money. bettre MPG too
A high-flow exhaust and a cold air intake to go along with it
