Move Snorlax out of the way of Diglett's Cave just to the East of Vermillion City (to do this, use your PokeRadio and touch, with your finger, at the top of the globe thing. should play the pokeflute. now exit out of radio and talk to snorlax, battle will ensue. He's level 50, so be prepared) Then, head through Diglett's Cave (make sure you have Cut before this) and you'll spit out on a path to the north east of Viridian City. Cut onto the Route, go south through Viridian and you'll be in Pallet Town.
Here's how to get to Pallet Town. 1. Go to Power Plant. Talk to the Manager there who is by a machine in the back of the Plant. He's on the right side of the inside of the Plant building. 2. Head to Cerulean Gym and you'll see a Team Rocket member there. 3. Head up to Nugget Bridge and defeat the Team Rocket member in a battle. 4. Go back to the Cerulean Gym and head to the top left of the pool. You'll see 2 sets of life tubes there. Interact with the set on the right. You'll get the Machine Part. 5. Take the Machine Part back to the Manager at the Power Plant. He'll give you the Charge Beam as a reward for helping him out. 6. Head to the Radio Tower in Lavender Town. 7. Talk to the guy in the brown that's near the back wall. He'll upgrade your Pokégear's Radio Card. 8. Head to the Snorlax that's blocking Diglett's Cave in Vermilion City. Go into your Pokégear Radio, manually tune into the PokéFlute station (it's at the very top) and interact with the sleeping Snorlax. It'll challenge you to a battle. Defeat it or catch it and you can now go through Diglett's Cave. Make sure to bring a Pokémon that knows Cut with you. 9. You'll end up near Pewter City so after cutting the tree down, you can just follow the path down in order to get to Viridian Forest and then to Viridian City and then to Pallet Town.
