How much can I get out of Quartz rocks? I found some?
Thee is not really any such thing as a celtic crystal. Quartz crystals come in many shapes and colors. They come from all over the world, many here in the US. Arkansas quartz is supposed to be the most powerful in the US, I have been there to the mines several times. Many beautiful crystals come from Brazil, some from Tibet. You can (and should) go to a rock shop or New Age store and pick out your own, or I should say, let the crystal pick you. As you are looking at them, and handling them, the one you pick up over and over, or cannot seem to put down, is the one you want. It will be tuned to your own energies. And never let anyone else use your stone, or borrow it, or even handle it too much. I have done that with a stone I had, and when I got it back, it was no longer my stone, the energies had changed. (And for those of you who don't believe in the energy of stones, consider this: the color in an amethyst, purple, is caused by atoms bouncing around inside the stone. If you leave an amethyst in the sun, and it heats up, gaps will open in the crystalline structure and the atoms will escape, leaving the stone a dull grey.)
Any metaphysical store in your area should have them. Or rock shops are a place for interesting crystals.
I have bought a load of quartz crystals from the gift shop at my local museum and they're reasonably priced.
Rock shops or metaphysical stores are the best suggestion, although you can pick up very nice specimens on okorder inexpensively. I possess a large number of crystals and mineral specimens, I know their properties, and have used them in crystal healing therapy. But I have to ask you, what do you think a celtic crystal is? Most available quartz crystal comes from South America, Africa, China, or Arkansas. The only celtic about it is the intent with which you charge your stone. (Yes, you DO have to cleanse and charge your stone with your energy.)
