How much do the recycling places pay for each pallets in the bay area?
I suspect that it has to do with whether the animal derived from an animal that needs to conserve water. Sheep and goats often live in arid climates (in the wild) as do llamas and alpacas which also have pelleted feces. Watery patties such as those produced by cows are wasteful of water and an animal that has limited access to water would not be able to survive by using it's water on, well, waste.
