It mostly depends on the weight of what is loaded ON those pallets. A standard wooden pallet is 48 by 40 by 6.5 inches. With a basic floor load, they are generally loaded 2 wide and 12 or 13 deep. Sometimes they can be double stacked, so you can get twice as many loaded pallets
Hi That is exceptionally large here in the european countries 40 feet is the normal trailer and being 4 feet pallets it is where it become a simple calculation

If loading a 53 foot trailer, 22 pallets is generally the norm, leaving a 4 to 5 foot space at the very rear of your trailer for leeway. Therefore, either 55 lbs x 22 = 1210 lbs of pallet weight, or 75 x 22 = 1650 lbs of pallet weight - in addition to the weight of your load.
