Question:

How much does copper/aluminum (.5D) pipe weigh per foot?

I‘m looking to make a KNO3 rocket. I need a pipe to hold the fuel. I need to know how much pipe weighs per foot (about .5 inch D). I dont exactly care weither its M, L, or K, but id perfer L grade. Or if you know of any other pipe that can withstand a lot (over 1000 degrees F) and quite a lot of pressure. Thanks.

Answer:

Is the 0.5 inch ID or OD, and what is the pipe thickness.
You can figure out the weight of a spcial pipe. However if you want a standard copper pipe 1/2 in nominal 0.049 inch thick it is .285 lb/ft.
