I've recently learned how to spin on a drop spindle and I've about used up all of my fiber spinning singles and I'm ready to plyShould I set the twist in my singles, then ply them together, then set the twist again or should I leave the active twist and ply the singles, then set the twist? Thanks!
I think you can use a nail polish remover on them
I use nail polish remover on a cotton ball and the little decals slowly fall off while doing that(:
If you plan to ply do not set the twist in the singles yarnPly first and then set the twistRemember when you ply you spin the plying yarns in the direction opposite that in which you spun the singlesI have always found it easiest to ply spindle spun yarns from a two ended ball, but if you plan to ply from an Andean plying braclet remember not to wind it too tightly around your middle finger so that you: 1don't cut off the circulation in the finger, and bcan get it off the finger so it is around your wristE-mail me if you'd like.
