Question:

How much iron?

I am tired all the time. I was thinking of getting some iron, maybe that would help. Any suggestions on taking iron? And can I just pick it up at any store?

Answer:

Bleed it like an old car, it works
your brakes are an important tool I f you have to ask how to bleed them You should not be messing with them
While Iron is good for your blood, I would suggest taking a vitamin B Complex for energy. Stress eats vitamin B in your body and results in feeling tired all the time. Check it out.
Iron in liquid form is the best. B vitamin drops are good too. Get both and take the iron once a day and the B drops as many times as it says. If you are not having health problems this should get you going. If it doesn't, you should tell your doctor because you could have a sleep disorder or other health problem.
Any drug store or health food store would have supplements. If your feeling tired it is best to go to the doctor and get labs done to determine the reason for it. It could be alot of things (thyroid, diabetis, enema all can make you feel like that, among other things) you may need something else other then iron. B-12 is also a vitamin that can help with fatigue. I would reccomend getting diagnosed first, rather treating something your not too sure about. Taking too much iron is not good, and any amount of iron can lead to constipation, so I would make sure you get something like Benefiber or the like for you to stay regular too.
