i have a twin day bed. I don't like it because it's a day bed, and there aren't many angles it can be. I have good mattresses, so how much would it cost to buy a new, normal twin bed? (sheets, comforter, pillow etc not included)
IT WILL ALL DEPEND IF YOU WANT A WOOD OR METAL FRAME ON THE BASE, I RECOMMEND METAL, WHY SKIMP ON FURNITURE THAT YOU SEND AT LEAST SIX HOURS ON A DAY. A NEW BASE MATTRESS SHOULD GO FROM $150-$450 DEPENDING ON THE BRAND AND THE DELIEVERY CHARGE.
At a wholesale club like Sam's club,you can find a Serta twin set for about $200. Serta mattresses are the best!

Depends on what kind of bed you are wanting to get. A wooden bed will cost more than a metal one, the price will also depend on the style of the bed. I would gather anywhere from $100 to $500 dollars for a decent bed. I would find a price you think you can afford and then look from there. My husband and I bought a new bed and matresses not to long ago, ours is queen. But the bed itself cost of $800 but its a really big and nice wood bed, the matress, well that was a WEEE bit more..lol Good luck on the bed hunt
