I want to put 22s on it but they rub on front when turning, plus on the back they would rub when the car is full of people at bumps, how much is it and how much do i need to lift it ? 1 or 2 inches? Plus what else i need to upgrade? I will use it as my daily driver.the tires ill be using are 265/35R22
That is a ridiculous size for that car. Your speedometer and odometer will be off by a mile, your car will be slower, ride worse, handle worse, and get worse gas mileage. Your suspension components will also all wear out faster with the significant increase in unsprung weight. In short, you will be paying a lot of money to make your car worse in every way. Does this sound like a smart decision?
Ignore PMack. The beauty of automotive modifications is that we can do anything we want or could ever imagine to our cars. Doesn't matter if other people like it, cause at the end of the day, the only thing that matters is that the driver loves the car they're in. ANYWAYS.You'll need to lift your car 2-4 inches to drive safely a comfortably. You may also need to show you front guards some love with an angle grinder in order to turn without rubbing. You're looking at anywhere from $400-$1000 to do this. As far as other components you'd need to upgrade, my advice is wait till something actually breaks before you waist any money. They chances of actually damaging your suspension in any way are very small as long as you lift is done correctly.
