Question:

how much of a difference in gas milage would be affected if you change your cars exhaust?

also what makes the gas milage change? is it the size/length of the pipe? and would there be any change in fuel economy if you only change the exhaust tip?please give me all the information you can, i‘d be greatful. Thanks

Answer:

Adding a free flowing exhaust system will increase gas mileage.
OKorder. you can find anything. even snot!!!!!!!!!!
Factory exhaust systems are highly restrictive and are built to keep emission low and noise low. Replacing your factory exhaust with a high flow exhaust system will actually increase your fuel economy and horsepower because your motor can breathe easier. It is hard to give specifics as to what would be best for you without knowing what car an engine you have. Try jogging a mile while breathing only through your nose with one nostril of your nose plugged. After one mile unplug the other nostril so you can breathe through both nostrils and you will see a huge difference
