A buddy and I just took a 2 section, approx20 foot floating dock out of a lake for winter storage with nothing but us 2 dudes, a truck, and an aluminum boatThe whole thing took us about 2 hours to accomplishWhen my friend originally talked to the guy to hash out a price, he wouldn't actually give any figures, but he did say that the last people who did it quot;used a whole crew and a crane and charged 'a lot'quot;Neither of us have done anything like this before, so we have no idea what to charge the guy and we can't find any references from people who have done something similar beforeBut I know that for someone who owns a place on a lake to say something cost quot;a lotquot;, it's gotta be a pretty exorbitant price tagI want to be fair enough so that he has us do it again, but also don't want to stiff myselfI'm going to continue to research this, but if anyone has a reasonable, educated figure, please let me know.Thank you.
