Just got this truck as a gift, looked underneath and the entire exhaust system is missing. How much do you think it‘ll be to repair?
The glass packs is probably no longer sufficient for decrease back rigidity, yet with out a cat your exhaust could have a noisy crackle sound. I did this with my dakota and the only looks I have been given exchange into from state squaddies pulling me over for a noisy exhaust. i might leave the cat if it artwork high-quality and do a twin exhaust with the flowmaster muffler. kind new magnaflow mufflers sell from 40 to 80, reckoning on the sequence. Or leave the cat on and positioned a stright pipe as against the muffler sounds incredibly badass.
Hate to break the news to you but you cannot 'repair' something that is missing. You can only replace the missing components. You'll need to add if this Dakota is a 2WD or a 4WD as well as which engine it has tucked under the hood for an actual price on an exhaust system.

i had my entire system replaced on mine and it cost me about 350 for everything on it, there has to be something under it other wise it would be so loud that you wouldnt be able to stand to drive it like that,have an exhaust shop give you an estimate on it,most shops now are real competitive and one will beat anothers price on the same job,good luck.
