I have an existing old oil fired boiler which is located in my dining room and I am wanting to get it replaced with a new one (still oil fuelled) and get it relocated to outside in the garden. The new boiler will be on the other side of the wall (only outside of the house, as opposed to inside). I am guessing this will mean there will be no need to relocate a lot of pipes. Anybody got an idea how much this is likely to cost (for the boiler, labour + vat)? I'm based in Highland if this makes any difference.
Replacing an existing boiler runs about $2,500 -$5,000 for a mid-efficiency system and $5,000 -$10,000 or more for a high-efficiency version.
A supply 70,000 btu substitute costing ?1700 ?? Is it there new gold plated style , pay no better than ?one thousand for the Boiler and and ?3 hundred labour ,even at that i could say its on the better end of the size
