Question:

How often should you vacuum carpet?

I vacuum every day with a kirby sentria. I read somewhere that vacuuming daily can ruin your carpet, but I haven't had a problem (yet). Supposedly it'll wear out the carpet sooner? I use the correct settings for my carpet. We have a 3 year old, a dog, and 3 cats, the thought of vacuuming even every other day kind of sickens me when I think about how many crumbs and how much hair can build up in the carpet lol.Is it okay to vacuum daily? Not gonna have to replace the carpet every 3 years if I do it that way?

Answer:

nicely, you're a splash like Monica (from pals) freak Ha Ha!!! Forgive me doll i'm 20 acres, according to risk you may vacuum two times each and every week (Monday Friday Tue Thu) or the different combination that supplies your fiance a huge gamble to forget approximately it and so which you will maintain your centers sparkling.
I live alone and have a cat . My carpet picks up a lot of debris , Therefore I vacuum atleast once every other day , if not daily.
It's not necessary to vacuum everyday. I don't think it's a problem if you DO vacuum everyday though. I vacuum once every week or two because I don't make huge messes that require vacuuming. Another thing you can do is vacuum a specific area. Like vaccum the rug your animals play on every 2 or 3 days just to keep it fresh. But as for bedrooms and hallways, it's not necessary to vacuum so much.
Vacumm as often as you like. It is your home. When people don't track in debris or drop crumbs the carpet stays cleaner. So, if you want your home to look and feel clean; vacuum all you want. Some times you have people around who don't care what they drop as long as the have an unpaid maid to vacuum. I have found that you can use the brush attachment when you want to make certain carpets look like they have been cleaned (if you don't have obviously soiled areas). Just vacuum back and forth and it picks up debris and dirt. Look at the carpet to see how the carpet looks freshly cleaned.
It's true that it will wear the carpet down because vacuums have beater brushes slamming against them every time you run it. However it's a necessary thing that can't be avoided. Carpets also break down from walking on them and dirt debris getting ground into them. Buy a better quality carpet and just as importantly a better quality padding and you won't have to worry about how much you vacuum. A good carpet should last 15 years or more.
