They should if they stick to the bible. We don't measure our religious values by imperfect humans or majority mentality but by what Almighty God presents in his word the Holy bible. In short, if their baptism associates the person with the one true organization of Jehovah God today and openly recognizes that those people (JWs) are are the only ones, as a group doing God's will on earth today. If their baptism is in the name of the Father (recognizing him as Jehovah God the supreme sovereign, recognising the holy spirit for what it is, his active force (and not a third person of a mysterious trinity) and recognizes the real Jesus, King and ransomer inferior to his Father and not Almighty God but God's son.. If they are subsequently dead to their worldly pursuts and fully dedicated to obeying our Lord and preachng the Good news from house to house with Jehovah's Witnesses who they recognize as their brothers and sisters then we should have no disagreement on the subject whatsoever. EDIT I'm afraid I do not understand your question. What I'd like to know is if the definition of baptism is really the same (outward sign of inward commitment), or close enough that they readily agree to those Bible studies This sounds to me as if you are saying if we all agree that eating is the ingesting of nutrients, we automatically readily agree to being vegetarians? What is the significance of agreeing in this case? You will have to explain in plain English your point and maybe get some input from Baptists. Our position is pretty clear and scriptural, you must be taught (and accept the truth of the information), you must become a disciple of the real Jesus (not the fake trinitarian imitation one) and then you can be baptised. (see Mat 28: 19, 20). if Baptists agree on the defintion of the third step all well and good, they have but to back up and get the first parts right. More than that I cannot say.
