Question:

How should I dispose of the liquid that's inside an antique fire extinguisher?

I found an antique copper/brass buffalo fire extinguisher that I would like to clean up and keep for decoration. Unfortunately it's still full of what I'm assuming is water, lead, and sulfuric acid. Are there any precautions that should be taken to properly dispose of water with lead in it?

Answer:

READ THE TAGS! If the wattage rating is the same between the blanket and the old control then it will work just fine. If the control watts rating is higher than the blanket watts rating, then it will also be OK to use the old control. If the blanket watts is higher than the control watts, then do not attempt to use the old control! You could overload the controler and a fire could result!
I WOULD GO WITH THE BIGGER ONE BECAUSE YOU ARE ON A FARM AND YOU ARE DEALING WITH A TRACTOR. GOOD LUCK
Usually just cover up with something and watch TV. I do have a FANTASY that involves a cold snowy night tho
