Question:

How soon after Steam Cleaning should you put furniture back in it's place?

How soon after Steam Cleaning should you put furniture back in it's place? The floor doesn't feel very wet at all, just a teeeeeny bit damp, so we were wondering when we should set the chairs and bookshelf back into place.

Answer:

I believe that it's a thin layer of metal on plastic but I'll check Wikipedia: Well, how about that, I am wrong! Metallized nylon (or foil) balloons used for floral arrangements and parties are often mistakenly called Mylar, one of the trade names for boPET film.
Do you mean carpet? The carpet should be quite dry but most people just put something under the furniture legs for a day until the carpet is totally dry and then lift the furniture just enough to pull out the barrier Drying time varies with type of carpet and atmospheric humidityIf you have a fan, turn it on to blow over the carpet to speed dryYou should n't be walking on a damp carpet eitherCan you hold off until tomorrow? Otherwise, use little protectors.aluminium foil for example under the furniture legs.
