Question:

how to bond together two aluminium tubes?

i'm working on a pneumatic rifle out of simple home materialshow do i stick two aluminium tubes together without welding or riveting?

Answer:

just get several hersheys kisses or half of a hersheys bar and heat them up in a non plastic bowl for 2 minutesthen take it out and get regular pretzels and dip them into the chocolateafter they've cooled for like1 minute, yummmayyou gotzit[[[[:
Without welding or riveting like you said I would recommend an aluminum epoxy called JB WeldShould be able to get it at most hardware storesThat stuff works great!
Put the chocolate in a pot over another pot of boiling water and stir it until it melts.this avoids burning the chocolate like it could do in the microwaveOnce the chocolate is melted stir in the pretzels then lift them out onto a cookie sheet lined with waxed paper and put them in the frigeYou will end up with only 2 pots and a lifter to clean (actually one pot will be pretty much clean because it only contains boiling water).
Use any plain chocolate and microwave until smooth and creamyTo prevent hardening, place bowl in a bigger bowl filled with half a cup of hot waterUse a fork, some wire, or (your fingers?) to dip in chocolateLet cool and dry on a cookie sheetGood Luck!
heat your chocolate up in the microwave or on the stove, once heated use a fork or chop stich (something like that) to dip he pretzels into the heated chocolate and back out aganlie them on a piece of foil or wax paper, put them in the fride for about 15 min to cool.
