i have a Netgear WGR614 router in my main room plugged into my pc and modemBut I was thinking of buying another router so i can play Xbox LIve in My other roomDo i still need to buy a modem to plug the router in or do i just plug my new router in the Xbox 360 itself and my main router will just communicate with my new one.

Most box store routers will not run as bridgesYou can get a AP Client box, I believe Linksys makes one (WET54G ?), or one of several on Ebay that have AP Client or bridging modeThese are usually stronger in signal than just a wireless adapter on the XboxSo, it all depends on what you wantIf you plan to have more than one machine bridged, get a unit with at least 2 ethernet ports on it (they act like a switch anyway - see units below)
