I am building a bait tank and need an outflow pipe to go to the filter. What are the best pieces to use to make this connection? I am picking up the livestock tank tomorrow so I am not sure how thick the plastic is (at least 1/2&, probaly 1&+) but the tank is 300 gallons, so I figure I will use 1-1/4& pvc.I know exactly what I need to do and how it should be done, but the plumbing materials are what I am not savy with.I put together a rough drawing of what I am doing so you can visualize it. The areas in blue is that which I do not know what to use.

Use one of the same kits that you would use to polish out yellowing plastic headlights. However it may be cheaper to simply buy a new face shield. or Remove the face shield. Wet sand with 1000 grit sandpaper followed up with wet sand with 1500 grit sandpaper. Polish out with polishing compound. Don't use rubbing compound as it is too course.
