Question:

how to build wind turbine blades for a science project?

i have to build a small scale wind turbine model that can generate electricitythe problem is i have no idea how to make those bladesive researched and i can use wood, pvc pipe maybe even plastic for the bladesdoes anyone know what material i should use for the blades?? and how can i make the blades correctly with the right curveture and everything.?!? please help

Answer:

One friend of mine lines her pan with aluminum foil first, then greases it as normalShe puts the brownies in the fridge to cool before cutting themIf your brownies are sticking to everything, are you truly sure they are completely done? Next time, add 3 - 5 minutes to your bake time and see if that helpsIt sounds to me like they may well be under-bakedIf you can, find an oven thermometer and check your oven's temperatureThe oven I grew up using at home ran a consistent 25 degrees cooler than it showedWe always had to bake things a little longer than the recipe or box recommended, and nothing ever burned, but we never twigged to the fact that our oven ran a bit coolA repairman found that out inadvertently for us when he was fixing something else.
make sure you grease througly before bakingI also flour the pan after greasing right before I put the batter in (but I dont make boxed brownies so I dont know how that might affect your batter during cooking.) Flour the knife youre using, make sure its a sharp knife, dont drag the knife along the cooked brownie to cut it, point the tip down and bring the blade down cutting all the way down to the pan, and wipe clean after each cut, this will make your cuts clean.
Grease the panMake sure you cook them long enough- a knife inserted into the brownies near the middle should come out cleanLet them cool around 10 minutes before you take them out but don't wait too long.
First, pay no attention to the comment posted by ? He/she always posts insulting remarksGo to his answer and click on report abuseYahoo will eventually remove him completely, and all of his ugly remarksIf your brownies are the gooey, chewy type, they are a little hard to get out of the panMaybe you need to bake them a tad longer, and make sure your knife is very sharp and cleanAnother comment said not to drag the knife, that's good advice.
If it is small scale, you could use cut-up aluminum from an aluminum soda can They do it in the movie TwisterJust bend the aluminum in a shape similar to a fan (ceiling fan, or house fan) A soda can blade could create enough energy to rotate a very small, very lightweight turbine generator.
