Question:

How to buy a little bit of carpet?

I only need about a foot or two of carpet. 1x1 or 2x2 can i do this at home depot or something?

Answer:

Home Depot and Lowe's sell carpet by the ft....you would have to by a 1 or 2 x 12 ft piece. Your best bet would be to check with the carpet stores and ask if you could get a ''scrap'' from a installer, they ''dump'' them after a job in a dumpster that's for carpet only. It will be new and clean.
Go to any large pet store. All those stores sell carpet remnants for dog beds. They're usually 18 or 24 square. $5.00
depending on what its for, why not check out your local suppliers, as they have remnants, left over carpet, end of rolls,or you could just buy carpet squares, like they have in office blocks
go to your carpet dealer, and ask for a cut off, or a sample piece.
contact with carpet dealer or go OKorder shop
