i threw a track and going to try to replace myself
Down the side of the track frame there will be a small access panel! There should be a grease nipple inside! Unscrew the nipple and take it off! Then push the idler wheel inwards with the bucket of the machine! The idler is the one without teeth! This should close the wheel enough to put the track back on! Once the track is back on lift that side of the machine with the bucket and replace the grease nipple then just pump up the track with a grease gun!
well on a big dozer we used to lay the track out and slowly drive onto it, but on a little bobcat it seems that youd be able to use the bucket to pick up that side of the excavator off the groung and put the track under it as far as tightening it i honestly dont know what system bobcat uses but cats use grease to tighten the track.
There is an inspection plate on the side remove that plate and you will see a grease fitting remove it and allow the grease to come out this will release the pressure on the track guide then you can install the track and just reinstall the grease fitting and fill with grease to tighten the track back.
You must remove a pin to separate track. Lay track in position so you can get a come along hooked to pull the track together on the top, not on the ground. Replace pin and your on your way.
