Question:

How to check the thrust cylindrical roller bearings? Thirty

I choose a thrust cylindrical roller bearing 81104, and would like to check the axial load can be accepted as 1.3kN axial load, I wonder if anyone knows? I check the data, there is such a formula:But this is too small. How do you know how to use this model?

Answer:

Bearing dimensions (or bearing samples) have "basic rated load (KN)", this column can be directly detected, in general, according to the use of appropriate multiplied by a (1.2~1.5) safety factor. In accordance with the requirements of the design manual, the equivalent load can be calculated (considering the speed, temperature, load and stability).
This data is the minimum axial load, not the maximum axial load.
However, in the conventional design, there are few checking bearings, as long as the shaft and shell meet the intensity requirements on the line, because the manufacture of bearings than ordinary mechanical parts to be much more stringent (except shoddy products). If you do your homework, do it according to the design manual.
