how to clean silver cutlery?
I'm not sure about your second question but I read in a Scion forum that the Injen CAI provides the best performance.
Sorry to tell you this but a CAI is not going to do anything noticeable in power to your tCYou are better off getting whichever one sounds better or whichever one is cheaperIn my opinion aluminum is aluminum all you are paying for is the brand nameOn a mostly stock tC that little 1mm difference or that little bump on the side will make such a small difference that you wont even be able to measure it.
The guy above is referring to a shorty intake, vs a true CAIShorty intakes just intake hot air from right beside the engine and use itAnd there is no headlight removal involved good griefSomeones dad probally came up with that one, so he wouldn't have to fork out for it As far as true CAI's there is no differanceIf you take them all and put them side by side there isn't any way unless you induce air strait from the exterior of the car they will do anythingThen you will take a chance on rain getting in the filter and into the engineYou could probally get better looks out of a cheaper one that you just chose a good color for, save the money on a CAI for $50 and get you a colored water hose in blue or red rubber.
For basic cleaning, the dishwasher is fine-I use it regularly on my everyday silver plate without issuesTo polish the silver, I have two methodsOne is polishing it with any good silver pasteI like Wright's, but anything is just fineIf it just needs a minor cleaning I take a plastic bowl, cover the inside with aluminum foil, and fill it with 5/6 hot water and 1/6 vinegarDrop as much as will fit in the bowl at a time and let it sit for a few minutesSmall amounts of tarnish will come right off as it gets attracted to the aluminum instead.
