Question:

How to get a car water pump.?

I have an 1985 cadillac fleetwood hearse and the water pump is shot to hell. where do get a good cheep one.

Answer:

You guys are all dumb please, especially you Kenny. Your a shop manager and these are the parts you recommend?? HA. I thought that was hilarious... theres a difference between good parts and cheap parts... I thought you were smart until you came out with AUTOZONE WILL HAVE WHAT YOU NEED. Do yourself a favor and stay away from cheap chinese autopart stores. I work in a shop and we have people come in ALL THE TIME with their broken water pumps from them. Spend the extra money and get yourself an AMERICAN MADE quality part. Your local mechanic should be able to help you out with that. Good Luck, and don't believe everything you hear.
Try a junkyard...
any okorder and find the closest location. they are the cheapest option unless you just want to push the car and then that wouldn't cost you anything now would it.
Autozone, O'Reilly's, Napa, or Pep Boys. Most water pumps are anywhere from 30 - 150 bucks for any car.
There are good parts and there are cheap parts. The two never mix. Go to an autoparts store like O'reilly or Autozone. They will have what you need. ****EDIT**** An auto parts store is your cheapest option. Your only other option would be to get a used water pump, but I would not suggest putting an almost 30 year old water pump back on your car.
